The Greetery’s Fresh Air Collection: Fresh Floral Backgrounds

We are heading into day 2 of the new Fresh Air Collection product reveals. Did you have a fun time hopping around yesterday, looking at all of the new inspiration? I heard so much fun feedback about Top Side Down stamp set! Now its time to share new ideas with today’s reveals. Let’s get started!

The new Fresh Floral Background rubber stamp is stunning! I stamped a few backgrounds in different colors. For this first card, I used TE Raspberry Sorbet ink for the background. I also used the fabulous new Slim Alphabet dies to die-cut Raspberry sorbet card stock. I am in LOVE with this clean font. To line my letters straight, I used the new Alpha Alignment guide, a stencil that has lines, to help attach letters straight. There’s a horizontal side, and vertical side. (Be sure to stop by The Greetery Blog for full description, and pictures.) I finished the sentiment with a die-cut word, using a Sentiment Starters die. **Please note- these dies are delayed, more details are at the bottom of this blog.

The spotlight flowers are from Print Shop: Fresh Floral stamp set. I used the coordinating die set to die-cut them. **Please note- these dies are delayed, more details are at the bottom of this blog.

Let’s talk about the Print Shop: Fresh Floral stamp set now. This stamp set stamps single flowers and stems, as shown above. It also comes with stencils, a large background stamp, and accessory stamps, so you can make your own colorful background.

This set is genius. I love that Betsy has thought of us, the crafters/cardmakers, and given us a way to truly make this a personal creation. I made several backgrounds, using different color combinations and mediums. (More of that will be coming in future blogs.) Here is the order of how I made my background:

I die cut the panel with a Crimped Rectangle Frame, and finished the card with a Written In Ribbons sentiment.

My last card features the new Alphabuds: Slim stamp set.

I kept this card clean and simple, using the grid in my MISTI to stamp THANKS evenly. The letters are individual stamps, and can be used alone, like I did, or can be dressed up with floral images that are included in the stamp set. I used pink inks to stamp the letters onto a card base, and finished the card with a black die cut, using a Sentiment Starters die**.

Products used today:

  • Print Shop: Fresh Floral stamp + stencil & die -(**DIE DELAYED)
  • Fresh Floral Background rubber stamp

**Please note: A handful of the dies from the new Fresh Air collection will not be available when the rest of the collection goes up in the shop on Friday (March 27 @ 10am EDT). “Due to some issues with our die manufacturer, including a move and some COVID-19 related issues, we are hoping to have these dies sometime in early April.”

That’s all that I have for now! I will be back tomorrow for one more round of product reveals before Friday’s release. Be sure to stop by The Greetery’s blog today if you haven’t already. Betsy has full descriptions for each product, and gorgeous examples to share. All new products will be available in The Greetery shop this Friday, March 27th, at 10am EST. Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Your cards are beautiful. I like to see the different way you colored the Print Shop Fresh Floral on the Just for You card. The graphic look of the Thanks card is neat, but my favorite is the Love card – fab!

  2. I like the use of the colors on the repeating pattern. I wasn’t sure about the flowers that lineup down the center, but breaking them up with alternate colors draws the focus away from that.

  3. I love your style! Your cards are always so pretty and I like how you are detailed in explaining your process in creating. Thank you!

  4. I love that there is an option for the allover background stamp or to use the bits and pieces to make the multi-colored background as you so beautifully did. I agree – I love the slimline font too.

  5. Three great looks and three fantastic cards! I especially like the way you created different colored flowers using the new stamp and stencil floral kit and the ways you used the new alphabet and starter sentiments dies. Thanks for sharing!

  6. What fun array of cards showcasing these new products! You’ve shown how versatile these are and shared ways to dress them up or keep them simple. Love these, Angelica!

  7. Thank you for making cards in a variety of styles. It really showcases the versatility of the products. Love your CAS card.
