Thinking Of You

The Greetery’s Fresh Air Collection: Spring Is In The Air

Today is one last round of inspiration and ideas to get you ready for tomorrow’s release! I can’t wait to hear what your favorites are in today’s reveals! I have picked a few products to showcase today, starting with the gorgeous Fresh Air Stamp Set.

I love how romantic this stamp set is. It takes me to so many small European villages I want to visit. And that curtain blowing in the wind… Thank You, Betsy! Let’s talk about this card process. I stamped each layer with Distress Oxide ink, onto Arches watercolor paper. I started with the window frame. I stamped the frame, and used a damp paint brush to move the oxide ink around just a bit. Next, I stamped the shutters, and again moved the ink around with a damp brush. I added the second layer to the shutters, then moved onto the brick. Once finished, I trimmed the panel, stamped the sentiment, and inked the edges with Toffee ink and a blender brush. The curtain and flower pot are the only elements not flat. I stamped them on another piece of watercolor paper, and the lines were softened with a paintbrush. I used the coordinating dies** to die-cut them, then attached them to the card with a little glue. I used thin foam squares at the bottom of the curtain for a bit of dimension.

I love these bricks, and made a second card using them for my background.

I stamped the bricks onto a white panel. I inked the edges a bit for a “vintage” feel, and splattered the panel with white paint. I used the Alphabuds: Slim stamp set & matching dies to make my sentiment, and glued them to an inked panel, using the new Alpha Alignment guide. I attached panel to the background, and used foam adhesive to mount the card front to a card base.

My last card features the new Budding Beauties Spring stamps + die.

There’s three different stems included in this stamp set, and sentiments that fit perfectly in the Bottled Up label. I used the cherry blossoms stem, and a Fit To Be Tied die for this clean card. I made a quick watercolored background, and used the Slim Alphabet die and Sentiment Starters die** to make my sentiment.
