Birthday Thinking Of You

Honey Bee Stamps 5th Anniversary Release Blog Hop

Hi friends! I’m so excited to be joining Honey Bee Stamps 5th Anniversary Release Day 2 Blog Hop. If you’re hopping along today, You should be arriving from the beautiful Channin Pelletier’s blog. You can find a complete list of today’s stops on the Honeybee Stamps Blog.

Yesterday was my father-in-law’s birthday. Perfect timing, right?? I used a few new products from this release to put this card together. I started with the Birthday Candles Background Stencil set. I used all three pieces in this set- I blended three blue inks over the Candle Sticks, and three yellow inks over the Candle Flames. I finished by using the Birthday Candle Background stencil to apply Translucent Embossing paste. Once dry, this paste turns shiny!

For the sentiment, I used letters from the new Bee Bold Lowercase Honey Cuts to die-cut dad. I added a white heat-embossed Gear Up sentiment, and framed the panel with a matching A2 Thin Frame.

Here’s a few more cards that were shared during last week’s Sneak Peek Week:

Be sure to head over to Honey Bee Stamps to see the rest of the 5th Anniversary Release, and don’t forget to hop along for more inspiration and a chance to win!

Your next stop on the hop is Lisa Cisneros.
