My Favorite Things May Release Countdown: 4 Days Until The New Release

Today brings a new round of product reveals from the new MFT May Release. There’s lots to see on the MFT blog, so be sure to stop by. I used a couple new products for today’s card.

Let’s start with the background. Circle Celebration background is a neutral background stamp that can bring balance, or boldness, to your card. I decided to go bold, and white heat-embossed the stamp onto watercolor paper. I taped the panel to a board, and sprinkled Nuvo Cherry Bomb and Solar Flare Shimmer Powders onto the panel. Next, I heavily sprayed with water, and let the pigments move on their own. While wet, the colors are super vibrant. I used my heat tool to dry the panel, and the colors became much softer. I used a baby wipe to wipe off the embossed circles. I trimmed the panel, and attached it to a card base.

All The Feels Die-namics comes with the word die and shadow. I die-cut yellow card stock with the shadow die, and blended Pineapple ink onto the edges, and glued the stacked words on top. I used thin foam squares to attach the die cut to the card, and added a die-cut heart from Bunle of Baby Clothes Die-namics. I finished with shimmer and Crystal Glaze on the words and heart.

  8. These colors remind me of one of my favorite summer treats… Raspberry serbet! Love the sentiment and the connected circles. We really are all connected after all.
