My Favorite Things: May Birthday Project

It’s time for the May Birthday Project Challenge, and this month we are making things personal:

Using alphabet stamps and dies allows you to create custom cards that leave no doubt that it was created with the recipient specifically in mind. The variety of sizes and styles available allows you to choose just the right look, every time. Let’s see what our designers have created in response to this month’s personalization challenge!

I made a card for my BFF, Colleen. Colleen is my favorite girlfriend to have coffee with, and to have drinks with. I thought this sentiment fit so many nights we have shared together, laughing over drinks. I used Let’s Toast and Birthday Cocktails Die-namics to die-cut white card stock, and attached them to a background I had made with Distress Oxide Inks. The Oxide inks used were: Dusty Concord, Milled Lavender, Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, and Mustard Seed.

The sentiment is from A Toast To You, which I white heat-embossed onto black card stock. I trimmed the panel, leaving room for Colleen’s name. I die-cut her name, using Cations Alphabet Die-Namics.

Now, it’s your turn! Be sure to head over to the MFT blog for more design team ideas and inspiration, then enter your birthday card for a chance to win!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. You can’t beat a great BFF… she is going to love this. The background is really beautiful. For me, you can’t go wrong with a margarita! Nicely done.
