Birthday Congratulations

The Greetery’s Confetti Collection: Sneak Peek Day 1

Today kicks off product reveals for The Greetery’s Confetti Collection! The Greetery has turned one, and we are having a huge celebration! For the next two days, we will be sharing tons of inspiration, leading up to Friday’s Release. I have a few cards to share today, information on giveaways for today and tomorrow, and links to today’s designers. Lets get started!

My first card features the new Birthday Blooms stamps and dies. There’s large words to start, or finish, your sentiment. There’s also small complimenting words to use. This stamp set also has floral stamps, and a layout idea sheet. This sheet shows you different ways to arrange the flowers around the words. I made a small arrangement, and tucked a few die-cut flowers behind a Signed And Sealed envelope. I used a Signed And Sealed Die to die-cut an opening in the envelope, and slid a gift card into it. For a summer touch, I stamped a Painterly Striped Background in Sunshine yellow.

My next card showcases a few new products. I picked a color scheme that’s new to me, and I have to admit, I like this unique look!

Let’s start with the Ticker Tape Background stamp. This fun stamp has confetti thick on one side, and loose on the other. I stamped, and white heat-embossed the Ticker Tape background onto Bristol Smooth paper, which I had blended Black Soot and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Inks onto. I added Twisted Crepe die cuts, and two Big Balloons. I used the following Distress Oxide colors for the balloons: Mustard Seed, Crushed Olive, Forest Moss; Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves, Chipped Sapphire. The Yellow balloon’s sentiment is from the new Balloon Bouquet stamp set.

One thing I love to do is stencil balloons. I make a LOT of birthday cards using balloon stencils. I decided to use the negative panels from the above card as stencils for my next card.

I made a very clean layout with the balloons, keeping my blending light handed. I covered the balloons with printer paper die-cut balloons (nothing fancy), then stamped the panel with Ticker Tape Background stamp. I added the Twisted Crepe, and stamped a Balloon Bouquet sentiment. I added strings with a glitter pen and a T-ruler.

My last card features the new Think Happy Stamp and Cut Combo.

This card is so VIBRANT in person! I used Copic markers to color the flowers and rainbow. I went over the coloring with a shimmer pen to add sparkle, and added Crystal Glaze for shine. The rainbow sits on a pink Silver Lining stenciled background. The sentiment is one of a few from the Think Happy stamp set. (Love that Font!!)
