Father's Day

Sunny Studio Stamps: Tool Time

Hi friends! I’m stopping by today with a quick card, showcasing Sunny Studio Stamp’s Tool Time stamp set.

I stamped the saw on the left side of a card stock panel, and colored with Copic markers. I used the Woodgrain Embossing Folder to emboss gray card stock. I attached the panel to a card base, added a strip of the colored card stock, and glued a thin strip of honey card stock. I finished the card with a matching sentiment from the stamp set.

This was a super fun card to put together. And now my daughter has a cute Father’s Day card to give to her daddy! That’s all that I have for today… Thanks for stopping by!

  1. He is going to love it… I miss my Dad every day. That was a hard year for me. My husband died March 31 and my Dad died on June 13th! I still make a Fathers Day card for my husband, it just really isn’t the same. Thanks for sharing this I loved it as soon as I (SAW) it!

    1. Oh Anne, I’m so sorry to read this. You have such a story. Your family sounds so lovely, and I’m sure your husband is part of the reason. I recently lost my grandfather. It has been tough to watch the family move on. My heart is full for you right now.

    1. I don’t have a tutorial. It’s an A2 size card. I made this card a while ago. Looks like 2 inches on the saw side? Maybe a little less.
