MFT & Friends June 2020 Release

Happy Release Day! The MFT June Release is now available in the MFT Shop. All of the new products in the Release can be found HERE. I picked the new Peony Perfection stamp for today’s card.

This is such a beautiful flower! I stamped it onto watercolor paper, and used Distress Inks to add color. I smooshed the following ink colors onto my glass work surface, and started painting: Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, Gathered Twigs, Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, and Black Soot. Once I finished painting, I splattered the panel with excess paint, and fussy-cut the flower. Lastly, I traced the edges of the flower with a black Tombow Dual Brush Pen, hiding the watercolor paper’s white core.

The background is blended with Mermaid Lagoon and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide inks. I white heat-embossed the sentiment, and splattered the panel with white gouache paint. I trimmed the panel with a Stitched Rectangle STAX, and glued on the flower.

Be sure to stop by the MFT blog  for more details on today’s release. There’s also a big giveaway, and guest designers. Thanks so much for stopping by!
