My Favorite Things June 2020 Mid-Month Release Countdown Begins!

Surprise! MFT has a new release arriving this Tuesday! This mid-month release includes 11 red rubber stamps, 6 being background stamps. There will be product reveals each day on the MFT blog, leading up to Tuesday’s release. Be sure to stop by to see all of today’s reveals.

This floral image is from the new Magnolia Blossoms stamp set. There’s two stamps in the set. I used the following Copic Markers to color the scene:

  • Pinks: RV99, RV95, RV11, RV00
  • Browns: E79. E77, E74, E70
  • Greens: BG99, BG93
  • Shadow background: T3, T1, BG0000

I always color with Colorless Blender too, to add texture to the petals. I will dab dots to push some of the color away, and love the uneven results.

I used Dark Sepia, and Payne’s Grey Polychromos pencils to enhance the shadows, then stamped a sentiment from Happy Hummingbirds stamp set.
