Today brings a new round of product reveals from the new MFT July Release. There’s lots to see on the MFT blog, so be sure to stop by. Even though the new Birdie Brown Picture Perfect Party Animals was featured yesterday, I couldn’t resist sneaking in a card I made with this set.
This little guy just makes me happy! I started off by coloring a gray background. Then I realized that a gray elephant wouldn’t stand out. So I chose to color him violet. I love how he turned out! Here’s the Copic colors I used:
- Reds: R35, R29, R59
- Violets: V25, BV00, BV000, BV0000
- Yellows: Y21, Y23, YR23, V93
- Grays: N7, N5, N3, N1
I die-cut a Selfie Square window from pin-striped paper, and used foam adhesive to attach it over the colored image. I white heat-embossed a sentiment from the same stamp set, and die-cut it with the large Fishtail Flag Die-namics.

I believe he is pretty handsome in violet… love those polk a dot balloons too. This set is pretty awesome. I would love to see what you would do with the two birds? Just sayin’
