Pinkfresh Studio August 2020 Stamp and Die Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday, friends! I’m so excited to be joining Pinkfresh Studio’s August Stamp and Die Release blog hop today. This release is so fun, and you’re about to see tons of inspiration in today’s lineup. You will find links to today’s designers listed below, as well as details for giveaways on the hop. I have a few cards to share, so let’s get started!

For my first card, I used the new Phrase Builder- Happy die set. I used “Happy” from the set, though there are eight more words to build from (Happy Mother’s Day, Happy Birthday, etc). I die-cut Happy from Sea Salt card stock, and silver foil paper. I stamped Diamond Tiles background with Misty Coast ink, then attached the die-cut words. I finished the panel with a white heat-embossed sentiment from Make A Wish stamp set.

My second card features the new Blushing Floral stamp set.

I white heat-embossed the stamp onto white card stock, and blended Marigold, Bubble Gum, Candy Violet, and Slumber inks over the embossed lines. I trimmed the panel with an Essentials: Stitched Rectangle die, and attached it to a card base with foam adhesive. I finished the card with a sentiment from the new Thankful For Friends stamp set.

My last two cards feature Thankful For Friends stamp set. This set comes with an amazing floral image, and beautiful sentiments to match.

I started these two cards by ink-blending a background, using Candy Apple, Persimmon, and Marigold inks. After the ink was dry, I white heat-embossed the floral image, and used the coordinating die to die-cut it. I added it to an Abstract Cube background, stamped with Rocky Slope ink. I finished the card with a sentiment from the stamp set.

I couldn’t resist using the negative panel for another card. I splattered a bit of white paint onto the panel, and attached it over a Detail Black-stamped floral, using thin foam squares. I finished the card with one last sentiment from the set.

That’s all that I have for now, thank you so much for stopping by! I have details on giveaways and discount codes below. Be sure to leave a comment for a chance to win!

  4. My favourite card is the second one. Those colours you chose are fantastic together and I was curious to see how those inks blended. Beautiful cards all around.

  5. Your blending is top notch, I usually can’t blend that well with dye inks, only oxides, so I may need to try out these inks. Your cards are beautiful.

    1. These inks are really easy to blend. I do use blender brushes. Oxides are my favorite inks to blend with, though. 😉

  6. That grey/white/silver card is just fantastic. I think that would be great for some of the people in my life who do not enjoy critters and flowers as much as I do. I’m also a big fan of the two-for-one technique with that great ink blending. What a great set of cards.

  7. The Blushing Floral looks so beautiful on the blending inks. I haven’t tried this technique but you’ve shown a few cards that makes me want to try it!

  8. I love your cards but that Happy Birthday one is perfect! I can use that for male birthday cards. Thanks for sharing!

  12. These are so beautiful. If I could I would own this entire release because it is so awesome!

  13. Lovely cards! I especially like the way you used the word”happy” all over the card then made it stand out by building it up and covering it with the metallic word – Simple, yet so nice!

  14. I love how you stamped those backgrounds in the pale inks for added interest. All of your cards are so pretty!!!
