Hello and welcome to the Sunny Studio Stamps 5th Birthday blog hop! I’m so excited to be part of todays’s celebration, and can’t wait for you to see all of the new products from the August 2020 Collection. The collection is now available to see HERE. I couldn’t resist using the new Penguin Pals stamp set for today’s card. I started by stamping the penguin onto Copic-friendly paper, then covering it with a pre-cut mask. I stamped the iceberg next, and masked it as well. I used purple tape to mask of the bottom part of the panel, and blended the sky. I used Cotton Candy, Tropical Teal, and After Midnight MFT inks.I took the mask off, let the ink dry, then add the mask again, this time on the sky horizon line to ink the bottom. I used Cotton Candy and Berrylicious inks.
I colored the images with Copic Markers. I used B00, BV000, BV0000 for the shading on the iceberg, and ice. Once finished, I die-cut the panel with Frilly Frames Retro Petals stitched rectangle die. I finished the panel with white heat embossed snowflakes, and a sentiment from Season’s Greetings stamp set. There’s a new Season’s Greetings Word Dies set that I am crazy about! I used the coordinating die to die-cut Greetings.
I also decorated the inside of the card. I stamped and colored a Penguin Pal in the bottom right corner, and picked a matching sentiment from the new Inside Greetings Holiday stamp set.
