Surprise! MFT has a new card kit coming, and it’s a Christmas cutie! The kit is called Merry & Bright. Here’s a picture of the contents:
For the next two days, the MFT design team will be sharing lots of inspiration, leading up to Tuesday’s release!
LET’S GET LIT… I couldn’t help but laugh when I saw this card kit exclusive sentiment stamp. I die-cut several lights, using the included card stock in the kit, to make a cheerful lighting around the white heat-embossed sentiment. The halo of color on the edges of the panel are blended After Midnight, and Tropical Teal inks. I splattered a bit of white paint onto the panel before assembling the card.
I used Silver Shine card stock to die-cut the cord and top part of the lights. I attached double-sided adhesive to the back of the silver paper before die-cutting the cord. I assembled the scene, and attached it to a card base with foam adhesive.

Yes! Any tiny die cuts, like the cord, adhesive on the paper before die-cutting saves you a headache!❤️

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… I love how you blend so the center is lighter. It really draws you eye into the background. Great colors and I think the string of lights is magical.
