It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… Today begins the reveal of The Greetery’s Merry Makings Collection. You are going to be blown away these next three days as all of the new products are showcased. Betsy has outdone herself again, sharing her art with us, and I can not wait to see what you all create with this collection!
Let’s start with the new Banner and Bough stamp and stencil set. This set has four layered stencils, and a matching layered stamp set. I used Concord & 9th inks (Aqua Sky, Peacock, Honeysuckle, Ballet Slipper, Stardust) to ink-blend, and stamp with. I splattered white paint over the image, then die-cut it with the coordinating die. The background is Painterly Stripes, stamped twice with Peacock ink, onto Peacock card stock.
My second card features the Banner and Bough Collection, this time used as a background.
I used more traditional Christmas colors for this card. The sentiment is from the new Written In Ribbons Holiday. The wood background piece was made with the new Wood Slices Die Collection.
My last set of cards feature the beautiful Merry Sprigs stamp set.
This is a perfect stamp set to mass-produce cards. I made two, though I could’ve made a ton more, if time permitted. This is when having a stamp platform is a game changer. I was able to stamp two panels quickly. I used The Stamp Market inks, and colored pencils to add shading details.
I also decorated the inside of the cards. I used a sentiment from Sentiment Suite: Christmas stamp set, and berries from Merry Sprigs.
