The Greetery’s Merry Makings Collection: Day 2 Reveals

Welcome to the second day of product reveals for The Greetery’s gorgeous Merry Makings Collection. I’m really excited for today’s reveals. These products are so fun and playful!

Say hello to Destination: North Pole. How fun is this?!! The stamp set coordinates with the previously released Destination dies and stencils. I made my own scene, using several images from the stamp set, and snow-drift hills with the Drifting Die.

A lot of comments were made yesterday on my unusual Christmas colors. I find color palettes on Pinterest, and pin them to my Christmas Palette Pinterest Board. I picked one of the vintage color combos as inspiration for my scene. I used six The Stamp Market ink colors: Blush, Bubble Gum, Raspberry, Curry, Island, & Sea Glass.

I loved the trees so much, I had to give them their own background. I hand-stamped the trees with the same Stamp Market inks, then stamped the trunks With Pinkfresh Studio Doe ink. The holly berries layered stamp is also from Destination: North Pole.

The Wood Slice I die-cut from cream card stock. The outer bark was inked with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink, and a finger dauber. The inside was inked with Brushed Corduroy. I splattered Ground Espresso Ink and white paint all over the pieces, and glued them together. I finished with dabs of Ranger Multi Media Matte around the edges, and a heavy pour of Rock Candy Glitter. In person, the wood piece looks like there’s ice on it. It’s so pretty!

I used the new Snowflake Soiree stencil and die set for this pretty-in-pink card. This set is very much like the Pinwheel Party set. There are four stencils that work together to create a pretty, multi-colored snowflake border. There are also individual snowflake stencils with coordinating dies.

I used two colors on the four-step stenciled snowflake border. I inked the edges first with Raspberry ink, then blended Ballet Slipper and Raspberry inks over the stencils. I blended another panel with Raspberry ink, and stamped snowflakes from Snowflake Soiree stamp set. The die cut word and shadow is from the coordinating die collection. I stenciled the single snowflakes, and applied a thin layer of Frost glitter glaze over the stencil before removing. After the glitter dried, I die-cut the snowflakes.
