The Greetery’s Merry Makings Collection: Hug In A Mug and S’more!

Today’s the last reveal day before tomorrow’s release! It has been so much fun sharing my projects with you all. Betsy has done such a marvelous job putting this release together, and I can’t wait to see what you all create.

Today’s product reveal begins with Hug In A Mug Holiday.

The new Hug In A Mug Collection is so adorable! I actually gasped out loud when I saw it! The Mug Die set comes with the cup, steam, lid, small circle (if you want to add a straw), and handle dies. The Saucer is separate, as is the coordinating stamp set. I blended inks onto card stock before die-cutting them. I stamped, and splattered paint/ink before assembling the cups.

There is an embellishment kit available too, filled with marshmallows, straws, sprinkles, etc. I cut the marshmallows at an angle to have them look like they’re floating in the hot drink.

The cups are a nice size to fill with treats. The lid easily pops in and out, and there’s even a long tab on the lid if you want to make a hinge, as I did with the green cup. And you notice those cute sugar cookies? They were made with the new Hug In A Mug Sweet Treats Die Collection.

I made cookie tags for presents. I die-cut the outside parts from cream card stock, and inked the edges with brown ink. the insides are circles of colored card stock, sandwiching a foam circle. I brushed the colored card stock with a shimmer pen, then attached the tops of the cookies. I finished the cookies with Crystal Glaze for shine.

I stamped the backs of the cookies with sentiments from Destination:North Pole, and Merry Sprigs. A quick hole punch, and striped baker’s twine finished them up!

Who likes s’mores?? I sure do! The new S’more Holiday Stamp Set has fun sentiments for a few different occasions. I love that there is a dedicated teacher sentiment. I made the background with two marshmallow layered stamps, stamping with Antique Linen and Tea Die Distress Oxide inks. I inked the edges with Gathered Twigs distress ink, and splattered the panel with ink and white paint.

The Wood Slice was made just like yesterday’s example. I used Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry, and Aged Mahogany Distress Oxide inks to stamp S’more. I used a die from Sentiment Suite Basic Die Collection to die-cut the sentiment strips.

Graham Cracker Cuts is another fun die in the new collection. I made a quick pocket to hold a gift card, and attached a die-cut graham cracker to the front.

Measurements are 8″x3″. Score at .5″ on 3″ side, and at 3.75″ & 7.5″ on 8′ side. Trim, score, and adhere.

Cracked Pistachio, Lucky Clover, and Pine Needle Distress Oxide inks were used for S’more. I blended Kraft ink onto the Kraft graham cracker, and splattered ink and white paint onto it.
