Christmas Cards

Colorado Craft Company Big And Bold Nordic Snowflakes

Hi friends! Have you seen the new Colorado Craft Company November Release?? It’s full of Christmas goodies! I have a set of 6 cards, with matching envelopes, to share today, using 3 of the new stamp sets. I also have a Free Shipping sales code for you to use: FREESHIPPINGAC. This is good through November 9th, 2020.

I started by trimming 6 card stock panels to A2 size, 2 panels for each color. I picked ink that was a few shades darker for each card stock. When mass-producing, a stamp positioner is everything! I positioned my Big & Bold Nordic Snowflakes in my MISTI, and stamped the panels. Once finished, I blended ink on the edges. I set the panels aside for a bit to let the inks dry.

I prepped my panels heavily with an Embossing Magic Bag, getting them ready for heat-embossing. (This is a must-have tool for embossing. It helps soooo much to keep your projects free from random embossing flakes.) I stamped the snowflakes twice, using Versamark Ink Pad. I poured Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing powder over the snowflakes, tapped off the excess powder, and used my heat tool to melt the powder. After all of the panels were done, I trimmed them to 4×5.25 inches. I picked a sentiment from the new Lovely Legs-Winter Season-Poinsettia stamp set to white heat-emboss.

Moving on to the card bases, I decorated the inside of each card base before attaching the front panels.

I picked a sentiment from Holiday Wishes stamp set. Again, I set up my MISTI for quick stamping. I added a coordinating snowflake to finish the inside.

Since I had this gorgeous snowflake stamp in my MISTI, I decided to dress up coordinating envelopes. I stamped the front bottom left corner, then moved on to the back.

The circle sentiment is another stamp from Holiday Wishes. I added adhesive to the backs of card stock, die-cut the circles, and stamped the circles with a template I had set up in my MISTI. Super easy envelope sealers!

Card Stock & Inks:

  • Concord & 9th Dove Card Stock
  • Concord & 9th Mushroom Ink

  • MFT Ripe Raspberry Card Stock
  • The Stamp Market Fuchsia
  • MFT Tropical Teal Card Stock
  • Concord & 9th Peacock Ink

I hope I have helped with ideas on assembly-line card-making. This is such a fun way to make stationery for yourself, or to gift to others. Thanks so much for stopping by!
