Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

It’s Pretty Pink Posh’s 7th birthday, and I am so excited to be taking part of the three-day blog hop! This is day two; you can find links to day one over on the PPP blog. This blog hop is all about the new January Release, now available in the PPP shop! If you’re arriving from the talented Rachel Alvarado’s blog, you’re in the right spot. A full list of the hop lineup is listed below, as well as details for giveaways and a sales code. Let’s Get Started!

My first card showcases the new Party Days stamp set. I stamped the three square images with Milk Chocolate ink, and colored them with Copic Markers. I used the coordinating Party Days dies to die-cut the squares, and the Raspberry Sorbet scallop background squares. To make the background, I blended Evergreen Bough and Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink onto white card stock, and splattered with white paint. I die cut the card stock with the large rectangle from the new Slimline: Peek-A-Boo Windows dies. I finished the card with a sentiment from the new Let’s Party stamp set.

My second card features the new Slimline: Scallop Frames Dies, perfect for shaker cards!

I made a background, using small stamps from Let’s Party stamp set. I colored the images with Copic Markers, then used the smaller scallop rectangle to die-cut a shaker window. I closed the window with acetate, added a Guava Scallop Frame, and flipped the panel over to finish the shaker. I added foam adhesive around the window, filled the inside with Cupcake Clay Confetti, and closed the back of the shaker with acetate. I blended pink ink onto a card base, and attached the panel. I finished with a Let’s Party sentiment and birthday present, die-cut with the coordinating Let’s Party die.

Thanks so much for spending time with me today. I hope I have helped inspire new ideas using these new products. Your next stop on the hop is Channin Pelletier. Happy Hopping!
