Happy Friday, friends! I am really excited to share with you a project I did a few days ago. I was going through some old product I had set aside, and found a background stamp that will forever have my heart. I had made a few cards with it three years ago, and thought I would revisit that design process, and update it.

This background stamp is IO Stamps Layered Pansies. Isn’t it gorgeous?? This was my second background stamp I ever purchased. I decided to use my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to color the pansies, just like my card from 3 years ago. I did a few steps differently, and spent a fun evening dedicated to these pansies.

Colors used for this card:
- 222 Pink Flamingo
- 220 Tea Rose
- 26 Light Pink
- 28 Pale Pink
- 230 Pale Rose
- 52 Bright Yellow
- 71 Flesh Color

Colors used for this card:
- 82 Purple
- 80 Violet
- 81 Light Violet
- 803 English Lavender
- 34 Dull Blue
- 31 Cobalt Blue
- 36 Light Blue
- 33 Persian Green
- 42 Turquoise green

My original cards, down below, were inspired by Michelle Lupton’s card.

Love these colors so Much… I watched a video by M. Lupton yesterday. Very good and I love to listen to her speak! Loved the hop for Jessica also. Thanks for sharing your tips and information on the products you use. Love it!!!
ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL CARDS!! I LOVE the “Why but it for $5.50 at the store when I can make it at home for $100!” My Hubby says this frequently! LoL! I told him a price can’t be put on my happiness & the feeling of being useful! I make cards for my church Care Team. I usually send a card to anyone on the prayer list. Anyway, your card is SIMPLY STUNNING!! I already have the Zig’s(thank you for the colouring tips). Your colouring is so much smoother & softer on the new versions! I LOVE the ideas of making cards fir my Mother Inlove to have to sent out! I will be ordering the stamp this week! Love All your videos! God Bless & the Love of Christ to you & yours!!
Beth, your husband and mine must be related because I’ve heard the exact same thing. My reply is “yeah, but I can make endless cards with the same stamps and dies.” (Angelica’s cards are a perfect example!) I’m blessed that he’s actually very supportive. Angelica, I love your beautifully colored cards. I’m bookmarking this page to spend more time with you and my Zigs! TFS 😊
These cards are absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you so much for your video! I also will be ordering this stamp to try this technique.
