The Greetery’s Spring Market Collection: Tulips For Mom

We have a new round of product reveals of the new The Greetery Spring Market Collection to share today, before tomorrow’s big release! I have a few cards to share with you, featuring cards for mom. Let’s get started.

My first card showcases a few new products. I love to pull out my watercolors any chance I get, and the new BotaniCuts Tulip gave me EVERY reason to pull them out. I die-cut the pieces from watercolor paper, and used my Mijello Watercolor paints to paint each section. the background is the new Fond Of Foliage background stamp, clear heat-embossed onto an inked panel. I used the Halfies Circle Die to die-cut a frame.

My second card features the newFlower Markets stamp set.

I used Distress Oxide inks to stamp the flowers and stems. I die-cut the flowers with the coordinating die set, then set them in a die-cut Market Basket. The basket was die-cut from white card-stock, then sprayed with Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain Distress Oxide sprays. The liner designer paper is from Authentique. I made a frame from Crimped Slimline dies, and stamped a sentiment from Holding Hands.

For a little added interest, I stuck magnets inside the basket of flowers, (I made a pocket) and the card front. I find doing this makes it easier for the recipient to “toss” the card.

My last card features Holding Hands stamp set.

I inked the hands with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink, and used darker inks to add shadows. I made a small bouquet in the envelope for the hands to hold, and finished with a Mother’s Day sentiment. The background is the new Fond Of Foliage Background stamp.

New Products used:

  • BotaniCuts Tulips die
  • Fond of Foliage Background stamp
  • Flower Market Bouquet stamp set + die
  • Market Basket Dies + Sentiments stamp set
  • Holding Hands stamp set + die

  1. Oh my, Angelica, your first card is stunning and love every detail. Your other two are beautiful and love the magnet idea. Those holding hands look so real. Awesome release!

  2. What a gorgeous bouquet of flowers!! Isn’t that basket the sweetest? I love the magnet idea too – so clever!!

  3. I love the way you have used such a variety of color and even products fro me Betsy’s other releases. can’t wait

  4. Angelica, what splendid cards! I forget about inking your own background and then clear embossing it with your favorite background stamp. Your first card–the pink oval with tulips–looks fantastic using this technique (partly because I’m fascinated with the foliage stamp 😉 ) How smart of you to use a magnet to attach the basket of flower to the slimline card! I’m pretty sure if I gave this to my mom, she would keep the flower arrangement for sure, but then hand me back the base of the card and ask me to fill it again! lol!

  5. All of your cards are so pretty, and I appreciate your tip on the magnets, but I can’t imagine that anyone would want to toss any part of that card!

  6. The colors on your first card are stunning. Love them all! Can’t wait to order this release tomorrow!

  7. Love the idea of all cards specially the removable bouquet 💐 idea.. something different

  8. The tulip dies are incredible! I love the different “views” or stages of bloom. And the flowers in the basket and the baskets are so cool! And the first pink card is so deliciously pink! Thank you for creating such beautiful inspiration.
