Colorado Craft Company August Release

My goodness, time has flown by this summer! I can’t believe August is already here, and with it comes a new Colorado Craft Company release! I am taking part into today’s Release Bloghop, and there’s a big giveaway throughout the hop! Leave a comment down below for a chance to win your choice of stamp set. Each stop on today’s hop gives you a chance to win.

There’s a lot of fun stamps and dies now available in the Colorado Craft Company shop, and I’ve feature a few of the new products in todays cards. Lets get started.

My first card features the new Peony Frames stamp set. I white heat-embossed it onto Bristol Smooth paper, and blended Distress Oxide inks over the flowers. I started with Kitsch Flamingo, and Dusty Concord around the edges. I wanted the edges to be a little darker, so I added a small layer of Chipped Saphire. Once finished, I used the coordinating die to die-cut the middle out, making the Peony frame. The background is Dusty Concord, Kitsch Flamingo, and Spun Sugar. I attached everything to a card base, and finished with a sentiment from the Peony Frames stamp set.

My next card features Life Lasts stamp set.

I stamped the bird image onto X-Press It blending card with Gina K Chocolate Truffle ink, and colored with Copic markers. Once finished, I used the coordinating die to die-cut it. I blended a bit of light blue ink onto white card stock, die-cut it with a stitched rectangle die, and stamped a sentiment from Be Free stamp set. I attached the background panel to a gray card base, and used thin foam squares to add the colored image.
