Autumn/Thanksgiving

The Greetery’s Leaf & Blade Collection Reveal

Fall is in the air, and with that comes a new collection from The Greetery. The Leaf & Blade Collection will be in The Greetery shop on Friday! I’ve made a few cards to share, featuring some of the new products, so let’s get started.

Let’s start with the new Layered Leaves stamp set and die. I die-cut white card stock, then placed the die-cut back in the negative, and stamped the leaves in the following Pinkfresh Studio ink colors: Soft Lilac, Lavender, Candy Violet, Regal Kiss, and Espresso. I made a background on watercolor paper, using Daniel Smith Yellow Ochre and Goethrite. I finished the card with Let’s Have A Word: Autumn, and a sentiment from Fall Foliage stamp set.

My next card showcases a fall bouquet, including the new Pampas Grass stamp set.

I made a high bouquet to fit in this lovely pitcher from Pitcher-esque stamp set. I added two different colors of Pamapas Grass, a yellow Layering Leaves stem, and a few BotaniCuts Wheat. The background is Tea Dye Distress Oxide ink, brushed onto watercolor paper what a wet flat brush. I die-cut the watercolor paper with the large Crimped Slimline die, attached the card together, and finished with another Let’s Have A Word: Autumn, and sentiment from Fall Foliage stamp set.

My last set of cards features the new Ginkgo BotaniCuts.

I made a background on Arched Hot-Press watercolor paper, using Nuvo Pigment Powders and a spray bottle. I love how the large panel turned out, so I cut it down to make two cards. I attached the watercolor paper to card panels, and stamped sentiments from Curio Labels stamp set. I die-cut six Ginkgos, and stack and glued three for each card. I decided to not add color to the Ginkgos, keeping the cards clean and simple.
