Christmas Cards

The Greetery’s Christmas Time Holiday Collection: Day 2

The team is back today with another round of the Christmas Time Holiday Collection, and I am really excited to share with you my projects. I had a lot of fun creating, ESPECIALLY with the Curio: Attic Ornaments.

I had so much fun working with these Attic Ornaments! I used Distress Oxide inks to color each piece, before glueing them together. I also dusted each die-cut with Perfect Pearls for a super pretty shine! The Distress Oxide colors I used were: Salvaged Patina, Evergreen Bough, Peeled Paint, Festive Berries, and Kitsch Flamingo. The frame is the new Ornament Box Top Vertical stamp. I stamped the Frame with TE Blue Raspberry ink, and the banner and accessories in TE Fruit Punch. The striped background is Painterly Stripes background stamp.

My next card features the Attic Ornaments in a horizontal frame.

This time I die-cut the ornaments with colored card stock. I used a vintage Christmas color palette, and blended a background with Speckled Egg and Salvaged Patina. I splattered a bit of white paint to the background for a snowy look.

The frame is the Ornament Box Top Horizontal rubber stamp, this time stamped with TE Cherry Pop and Dijon inks. I popped up the ornaments and banner with thin foam squares, and used a glitter pen and T-ruler to draw strings for the ornaments.

My last card features the new Christmas Time In The City die.

I die-cut all the pieces from white card stock, and used finger daubers to ink them. These pieces are small, so i just pulled out inked daubers from my storage case, and used the ink in the sponges. For the tree and stand, I added a bit of glue and glitter for extra sparkle. The pink Hour Glass frame is really playful, and a fun color option for Christmas. The Christmas Time sentiment I stamped with red ink, and die-cut with the coordinating die.
