Christmas Cards

Colorado Craft Company’s Anita Jeram Christmas Release

Colorado Craft Company has a new release today, and its all about Anita Jeram Holiday illustrations! These darling stamp sets have Anita Jeram’s critters all dressed up for the holidays. I made two cards from one of the four stamp sets in this release, and am excited to get to share them with you. I also have news on a giveaway, and a list of designers joining in on the fun today. Let’s get started!

This sweet Santa is from Santa Bunny stamp set. I stamped him with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto Arches Coldpress watercolor paper. I watercolored him with Daniel Smith Watercolors, keeping the scene really simple. I added a shadow under him to ground him, and finished the scene with a few snowflakes. I mounted the panel onto black card stock, and attached the panel to a gray card base, stamped with black lines. I finished the card with a white heat-embossed sentiment, and used the coordinating die to die-cut it.

My second card features the same stamp, this time I stamped the bunny with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink.

Stamping the bunny with brown ink really warmed up the scene for me. I made this card a horizontal card, and painted with the same colors. I again finished the card with a heat-embossed sentiment, and snowflakes.

Colorado Craft Company is giving you a chance to win the new Hanging Stockings Mini stamp set. To enter to win, leave a comment below. Contest ends Tuesday, November 23rd, at midnight.

  2. Hi, Your cards are very sweet, both of them. The stamp is the star of the show and I love that. I’m sorry if I am leaving a duplicate comment… I could not tell if my first attempt went through or not. Anyway… I really appreciate seeing the sepia ink vs. the black. TFS!

  3. Very nice card and this is such a cute stamp. I really like the striped background you used behind your scene.

  4. Angelica, I love your card composition! So rich and warm… The setting highlights the focal point just as it should be 😊

  5. Thanks for showing the impact of the color of the ink by using the two different colors of ink when stamping the cute Santa bunny!
