Pinkfresh Studio November 2021 Essentials Release

Happy Monday, friends! I’m so excited to be joining Pinkfresh Studio’s November 2021 Essentials Release blog hop today. You will find links to today’s designers listed below, as well as details for giveaways on the hop. I have four cards to share, so let’s get started!

I used the new Essentials Blanket Stitched Rectangle dies for all four cards. This die set has 3 dies, the two smaller dies having inside and outside stitching. The largest die is A2 card size, and I used that to die-cut the pink background. The orange and blue cards were made with the second largest die, using the inside and outside die cuts. And the smallest die was used for the pink and yellow cards.

I stamped a Diamond Tiles background with Ballet Slipper ink, then die cut the panel with the large Blanket Stitched die. The flower and sentiments for all four cards comes from one of my favorite Pinkfresh Studio stamp sets, Thankful For Friends. I stamped and gold heat-embossed the flower on four panels of white card stock, and made my own masks to ink-blend the flowers and stems. I used Meadow and Bubblegum inks, then finished the flower with a few pencil details. The stitched white panel the flower is sitting on is the inside rectangle from the smallest die.

The yellow card was stamped with Sunshine ink, and I die-cut the frame with the smallest rectangle die. I love the look this stitching gives for a frame!

The next pair of cards were made with the second largest die.

I made a frame for the orange card, and popped it up on the card base with foam adhesive. The ink used for the background is Peach Fuzz, and I blended Apricot ink on the flower.

The blue background was stamped with Blue Jay ink, and Slumber ink was blended on the flower. The inside cut panel from the second die is a perfect size for this flower.

I kept my products narrowed down to three, minus the inks. I thought it would be nice to share different ideas using the same products. I had a lot of fun creating these cards, and I hope I passed on some crafty inspiration to you!
