There’s a new collection arriving in The Greetery’s shop this Friday, and it is so stinkin’ CUTE!! You are going to be blown away these next two days as all of the new products are showcased. I had a lot of fun putting these projects together, even worked through Covid (YUCK!), and now I’m excited to share them with you! Let’s get started.

This first card features the new Sweet Tooth stamp set. I die-cut lots of candies with the coordinating die first, then stamped them with Distress Oxide inks, using finger daubers. Once they were all stamped, I moved onto the card front.

I planned on making a background with the candies, and wanted them to have shadows. I pulled out Copic Markers C02 and C0 to make the shadows. Since I stamped the candies with Oxide inks, I made a background with white die-cuts. This way I could make shadows, and not hurt my marker nibs by touching the Oxide inks. This also gave the candies a little dimension. I used Copic colors RV13, R17, and BG13 to add confetti dots for some extra fun.
To finish the card, I used Piped Sentiments: Sweet die and a sentiment from Sweet tooth stamp set. I die-cut TE Guava card stock with the background Sweet die, then stacked and glued two words on top of it. Once I stamped Birthday Wishes onto white card stock, I die-cut it with a PreText Banners die.

My second card features Love & Cookies stamp set and die.

I started first with the words. I die-cut white card stock with Love & Cookies die, and inked them with Oxide inks. The background was inked with Tea Dye, and the letters with Kitsch Flamingo, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, and Salvaged Patina. After I glued the letters onto the background, I added a coat of Nuvo Crystal Glaze for shine.
I white heat-embossed a sentiment from Love & Cookies stamp set onto pink card stock, and die-cut it with a Sentiment Suite Basics die.
The background was made with the new Frosted Frames die, using TE Gauva and Pink Champagne card stock.
