Thinking Of You

Pinkfresh Studio Beautiful Blooms

Hi friends! I have a quick card to share with you today, featuring new and previously released products from Pinkfresh Studio. I have had the Beautiful Blooms stamp set out on my desk, just waiting to be used. As much as I love coloring, I also love the simplicity of using coordinating stencils to add color to my cards. That’s exactly what I did for this card. Let me share my process.

I started with the floral image. I used the coordinating stencils to add color first to my white card stock. The petals were colored with Soft Lilac, and Candy Violet inks, and the leaves with Mint and Emerald City inks. Once the stenciling was finished, I stamped the image with Doe ink, and used the coordinating die to die-cut the image.

I attached the flower to a white Essentials: Blanket Stitched Rectangle background, backed with vellum. To finish the card, I pulled out Pop-Out: Nested Chevron background stamp, and stamped it with Ballet Slipper ink. I stamped several backgrounds, using a variety of inks, and loved how simple the light pink background turned out. I finished the card with a Fancy Script Word sentiment.

Aren’t these blooms lovely?? And you know me and my brown ink… I just love the softness it brings. That’s all that I have for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!
