Hi friends! I am back with another round of cards, featuring a new stamp set in Colorado Craft Company‘s Kris Lauren Release. I am so happy to see this talented illustrator in the 3C shop, I just can’t get enough of her adorable critters! Before I get started, I do have a free shipping code to use: FREESHIPPINGAC. I picked Teacups & Mice stamp set to work with today. This set has three mice, and three teacups. I stamp all of the images onto Xpress It blending card, and used Copic Markers to color them. For this card, I used the following colors:
- Mouse- E04, E11, E21, E11; ears for all 3 cards R20, R00, R000
- Flower- RV29, RV14, RV13, RV21
- Cup- W5, W3, W1, W0
- Leaves- YG67, YG63, YG61
I used the coordinating dies to die-cut the images. I snipped the back of the teacups, and fussy-cut around the flower petals until I made enough room to tuck in the mice.
When I color with yellow markers, I use V93 under them to help with shadows. The colors I used for this card were:
- Mouse- W5, W3, W1, W0
- Cup- V93, Y11, Y00, Y000
- Leaves- YG17, YG05, YG03, YG01
I finished the cards with a sentiment from the stamp set, and a light gray background pattern paper.
The colors used for this card were:
- Mouse and cup- T5, T3, T1, T0
- Flower- V99, V95, V93, RV91
- Leaves- YG99, YG97, YG93, YG91
