Thinking Of You

THe Greetery’s Breath Of Spring Collection

There’s a new collection arriving in The Greetery shop this Friday, and it’s all about spring! You are going to have so much fun these next two days looking over all the new products. I’ve made a few cards using today’s product reveals, so let’s get started!

This is the new Print Shop: Spring Mix Stamp and Stencil set. I picked soft spring colors, and used the layering stencils first to add ink to the white card stock. Once I finished with the stencils, I put the panel in my MISTI, and stamped the details. I used the coordinating die to die-cut the panel. There are also dies in the set for single flowers to add extra layers, but I opted out of using them. I added a small bit of dimension with colored jewels instead. The background I blended Speckled Egg and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink onto, and attached the panel. I finished with a few white gel pen accents, and a heat-embossed sentiment from the same stamp set.

My next two cards features the new Springtime Stamp Set.

How cute is this bunny?? This stamp set has two scenes for the bunny, and a variety of sentiments. The sentiments coordinate with Christmas Time Sentiments banner die. This set also is designed to coordinate with The Hourglass Frame and Insert dies, which I have used here. I die-cut colored scard stock for the grassy hill, and stamped the flowers with Distress Oxide inks. The card base is stamped with Windowpane Plaid Background Stamp. I finished the card with a few jewels.

This stamp set can also be used without the Hourglass, which I did for my last card.

I am so in love with this umbrella. I will be making cards with that stamp and die alone! I inked a panel with light blue ink, and used a corner-rounder punch to cut the corners to match the curve of the flowers. I used a sentiment from the stamp set, and attached the scene to a Postal Frame panel. I again used Windowpane Plaid Background Stamp for the background.
