Thinking Of You

The Greetery’s Breath Of Spring Collection: Day 2

It’s the second day of The Greetery’s Breath Of Spring Collection product reveals, and I am really excited to share with you projects I created using these fabulous new products. I paired them with a lot of older products, and I LOVE how they all worked together. By the way, If you missed yesterday’s product reveals, you can find them HERE. I have 4 cards to share, so let’s get started.

Let’s start with the new Curio: Spring’s Findings dies. This die set has a beautiful variety of spring’s nature, and I couldn’t wait to get these die-cuts inked up! I die-cut white card stock, and pulled out my finger daubers (you knew they were coming! lol), and a rainbow of pastel Distress Oxide inks. I used Weathered Wood to ink the Curio Cover Die and Curio Divider & Details II. I used very little ink (and a light hand) to have the “wood” look distressed. Once I put all the card together, I finished with a sentiment from Curio Labels stamp set.

I also made a clean and simple card using the same dies for my next card.

I love these little blossoms so much, and wanted to make a card highlighting them. I picked Let’s Have A Word: Spring die and Pretext Sentiments for the sentiment, attaching everything to a panel die-cut with a Postal Frames die. To add a bit of color to the background, I stamped Fresh Floral Background stamp with TE Saltwater Taffy Ink, and die-cut it with the large Crimped Frame die.

The next card features two new products: BotaniCuts: Crocus die, and Amen Die.

I die-cut white card stock with the Crocus dies, and inked them with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Shaded Lilac and Seedless Preserves for the petals, and Twisted Citron and Rustic Wilderness for the leaves. I also inked white card stock with Shaded Lilac and Seedless Preserves before die-cutting Amen. For the card frame, I used all three Crimped Rectangle Frames, and popped it up on a card base with foam adhesive. I arranged the flowers, used foam squares and glue to attach them, and glued on the Amen to finish the card.

My last card is definitely a card made with lots of love (and time!).

I used the new BotaniCuts: Pussy Willow Die to add accents to this big floral arrangement. I actually pulled out a lot of BotaniCuts for this arrangement: Lily, Rose, Tulip, and Crocus. I used the following Distress Oxide inks to color the die cuts: Tulip- Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo; Crocus- Shaded Lilac, Seedless Preserves; Rose- Abandoned Coral, Candied Apple, Festive Berries; large Lily- Abandoned Coral, Scattered Straw; small Lily- Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass; Leaves- Twisted Citron, Rustic Wilderness; Pussy Willows- Vintage Photo, Tea Dye. I arranged them on a black slimline panel, die-cut with Nordic Slimline Die. I finished with a thank you sentiment.
