Hi friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve stopped by! I took some time off, and my daughter and I went on our first mommy/daughter trip. We had so much fun! We are now home, unpacked, and getting back to normal life.
Today I thought it would be fun to play along with this month’s Pinkfresh Studio Challenge. April’s theme is all about geometric shapes, and I couldn’t resist combining the new Rainbow Floral Washi with Hexagon Dies and Hot Foil.

I made four cards using the Hexagons, combining hot foil plates and nesting dies to make my own frames. I also couldn’t resist incorporating Sparkling Diamonds Die into the cards. This die makes beautiful texture, and was a perfect match for this set of cards.

I am such a fan of clean and simple cards. Making frames really helps keeping cards simple, yet adds a unique touch to them. I love the simplicity of this card, and chose to not add any embellishments, letting the frames shine on their own.

I added a hot foiled Perfect Sentiment to each card. I love how the foiled words and the foiled hexagons shine together.

You can see how I made all four cards HERE:
