Thinking Of You

Colorado Craft Company Anita Jeram June Release

Colorado Craft Company has a new release today, and its all about Anita Jeram illustrations! These darling stamp sets are so cute, and I picked one set to make two cards with. I also have news on a giveaway, and a list of designers joining in on the fun today. Let’s get started!

I picked Stargazers stamp set to work with. There are two sweet illustrations, and four sentiments included. There’s also a few different star stamps if you want to make a stamped starry night sky. I stamped this bunny scene onto watercolor panel with Versafine Clair Nocturne Black ink. I then made an evening sky with Payne’s Gray watercolor paint. Once I painted the bunnies and grass, I covered them up with a mask, and splattered white paint all over the panel to make stars. After it was dry, I trimmed the panel down, attached it to a slimline card base, and finished with a white heat-embossed sentiment.

The second card features the bears scene.

On the back of the package, you will find an illustration example. I colored the bears just as they are show on the package. These two bears reminded me of my sons with their dad when they were younger. I picked a sentiment that I could hear him telling them. It was really sweet to put this card together, remembering my boys when they were little. They’re 20 and 17 now, and not too little anymore. (They’re both 6’4″!) Anyway, I think this would be a great scene for Father’s day, or a dad’s birthday. I made another night scene, and splattered white paint for stars. I painted the bears with burnt umber and raw umber paint, then finished with another heat-embossed sentiment.

By the end of the summer, I will have my video studio set back up, and will be making how-to videos again. I’ll be sure to let you know when I start recording again.

So let me know what you think! Which one is your favorite? Be sure to leave a comment at each stop for a chance to win a stamp set from this release. There’s lots of inspiration being shared. If you want to see the whole release, You can find it HERE. Your next stop on the hop is the talented Bibi Cameron.
