Happy Friday, friends! I’m excited to announce I have been invited to be a guest designer for Concord & 9th! I learned about this company about 5 years ago, while roaming around YouTube. I came across a Jennifer McGuire video, and she was working her magic with Concord & 9th stamps, and I was sold! I’ve been collecting their products ever since. Needless to say, I am honored to be part of their inspiration for the month of August.
Today, we are taking a close look at the new Friendly Floral stamp and die set. I have several examples to share, and I also put together a quick video! Let’s get started.

For my first card, I started with a Ballet Slipper background, die-cut with the new Honeycomb Quilt Top Cover Plate. I used the floral dies from the Friendly Florals die set to make the cone flowers. I die-cut Peacock card stock with the stem dies, Cranberry card stock with the flat petal die, Poppy card stock with the detail petal die, and Buttercup card stock with the petal disc die. I thought this color combination would be great for bold flowers. I attached them to a die-cut white oval, stamped with a sentiment from Friendly Florals stamp set, and finished the card with a black and white die-cut Friend.

My next card is the same layout, I just changed the colors. I white heat-embossed the sentiment onto Peacock card stock, and used Ballet Slipper, Honeysuckle , and Buttercup for the flowers, and Aqua Sky for the stems. The die-cut word is Dove and White card stock.

I used Ballet Slipper again for my background on this next card. The flowers were made with Dove, White, and Buttercup card stock, and the stems with Parlsey. Mushroom and White card stock were used for the word, and I stamped an arched sentiment around the word in my mini MISTI.

My last card has an Aqua Sky background, and Cone flowers made with Grapefruit, Marmalade , Buttercup, and Parsley card stock. The sentiment comes from Apple Orchard Turnabout Stamp set.
I’ve made a quick video on how I put these cards together HERE:
That’s all that I have for today. I will be back next Friday with another round of Concord &9th inspiration. See you then!
