Concord & 9th Apple Orchard And Honeycomb Patterns

Happy Friday, friends! I’m back with another round of Concord & the 9th inspiration. We’re focusing on a few products today, starting with the Apple Orchard Bundle.

I used the Apple Orchard Turnabout stamp to make the background. I picked colors inspired by my grandmother’s 1070’s kitchen: Poppy, Grapefruit, Star Dust, and Sea Glass. Once I finished stamping, I trimmed the panel and attached it to a card base.

I white heat-embossed a sentiment from the same Apple Orchard stamp set onto Poppy card stock, and die-cut with the large apple die from coordinating die set. I added a Mushroom stem, and an Evergreen leaf to finish the card.

I made a second card, using the small apple dies from the Apple Orchard die set.

I die-cut a variety of pink/red , green, and blue green card stock for the apples, and Sprout and Clover for the leaves. I attached them to the card front with thin foam adhesive, and finished the card with an Apple Orchard sentiment.

My last card features Honeycomb Patterns Bundle.

I picked an autumn-inspired palette for this card: Cranberry, Poppy, Sorbet, Grapefruit, and Stardust. I stamped each card stock with a pattern from Pick A Pattern Stamp set, using the matching ink for each card stock.

To put the card together, I first die cut white card stock with the Hexagon Quilt Top Cover die, and attached it to a card base. I also die-cut Dove card stock with the same die. I used the smaller Hexagon dies to die-cut the pattern paper, and glued them onto the Dove card stock. I trimmed the panel down, and attacked it onto the card base. I finished with a Hi, another die included in the Hexagon Quilt dies, and a small flower from Friendly Florals Die set.

That’s all that I have for today. I will be back next Friday for another round of Concord & 9th inspiration. See you then!

  1. It’s getting close to apple season here in Michigan! Love the colors and I do so love the turn-a-bout sets for Concord&9th. I have several of them. It would make a wonderful card for a teacher too. I know your little one is starting school this year … TFS as always I enjoy your creativity!
