Colorado Craft Company has a new release today, and its all about Halloween! I picked the newest stamp set in their Lovely Legs collection to work with, and I can’t wait to share my project with you! I also have news on a couple giveaways, and a list of designers joining in on the fun today. Let’s get started!
Say Hello to Tombstone Witch. Isn’t she absolutely fabulous?? I stamped her onto Xpress It blending card with Pinkfresh Studio Detail Black ink, and covered her with a mask. I ink-blended the dark blackground, then colored her with Copic markers.
By the way… notice the lines in the background? I dropped an ink pad lid onto the panel, and it left ink lines! Gah! I didn’t let it bother me, though. If anything, it brings more character to the card, right?? lol
The Copic colors I used were:
- Greens: G29, YG17, YG05, YG01
- Purples: V17, V15, V12
- Oranges: E07, YR15, YR12
- Warm Gray (stockings): W3, W1
- Cool Grays: C9, C8, C6, C4
- Skin: E04, E11, E51
- Drop shadow: T1, T2
I finished the card with a sentiment from the same stamp set, stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
