Christmas Cards

The Greetery’s A Song Of Christmas Collection Product Reveals- Day 3

It’s the final day of reveals for The Greetery’s 2022 Christmas Collection, and there’s still a lot to see! I have a few cards and projects to share, plus two introduction videos over on The Greetery YouTube Channel. If you missed day one, you can find it HERE. If you missed day two, you can find it HERE. Let’s get started!

The new Cooking Up Christmas stamp and stencil set is a fun play on illustrated recipe cards. Betsy has put together a stencil set that will make all the fixings you need for Christmas cheer! I inked all of the images with Distress Oxide inks, then added the words and accent pieces by following the included stamp and stencil guide. You can see how I worked with this new set over on The Greetery YouTube Channel.

There’s also a coordinating die set if you want to make your own card front, which is what I did here. I used a new A2 Arched stencil to stencil the blue background.

My next two cards features the new StencilScapes Winter stencil.

This is a 6 piece stencil set, and it builds this beautiful winter scene. I again used Oxide inks on the blue panel. I used the new Frosty Pines die to add dimension to the trees. I forgot to take a picture of a panel without the Frosty Pines, but there is a side-by-side view in the StencilScapes Winter introduction video on YouTube.

I changed up the sky and snow colors with The Stamp Market Cotton Candy and Blush inks. I also used their Jade card stock for the green on the Frosty pines, and TE Avocado card stock for the trunks. I finished all of the cards with a sentiment from Arched Holiday Sentiments.

For those who like making little treat boxes, you are going to love the new Figgy Pudding Box die.

I’ll be honest… I’ve never heard of Figgy Pudding, So I wasn’t sure what colors to use… so I picked a few.I did stick to a holiday theme, but I think changing the colors up really makes them work for any occasion. I used solid TE card stock for the bases, (Cupcake, Mint Julep, and Mocha) and Chocolate Truffle for the brown topper. The other toppers were made with glitter paper (I LOVE the chunky gold glitter!), and I topped all the toppers with a red Bow Topper.

The “candy” embellishments are Holly Toppers, Strawberry Bits, and Candy Crumble Bits. I used a lot of glue on these toppers to hold the embellishments, and I used glue for the clear glitter on the chocolate card stock topper.

I will note- the next time I want to put clear glitter on colored card stock, I will use Range Multi Media Matte. I used white glue that dries clear, but its not the same… White glue doesn’t let the clear glitter sparkle like the Media Matte does.
