Hi friends! I’ve been busy making handmade Christmas ornaments for gifts, and thought it would be fun to share how I make boxes to gift them in. I picked Halftone Holiday Stamp Set to decorated the boxes and gift tags with, and put together a video tutorial to share my process.
I made red, green, and pink (of course!) boxes, and used a variety of ribbon and twine to hold the little gift tag/note cards to the boxes. I thought this stamp set would be perfect for a tone-on-tone print, and I absolutely love the results.
For the boxes, I used Bazzill 12×12 card stock that I get at my local Joann’s store. I’ve been a huge fan of this brand for many years, and most of their 12×12 card stock is heavy weight, perfect for boxes!

My daughter and I went crazy when I first bought my Martha Stewart score board and made a bazillion boxes in all sizes… we had so much fun and all of our gifts were appreciated that much more that year!! I love stamping my own backgrounds and this stamp set is really pretty. Your beautiful ornaments really deserve a homemade box… TFS and another great video!!
