Hi Friends, thanks for stopping by today. This post is a bittersweet one for me… today I say goodbye to the Drive By Crafts design team. I have been designing for Annette, the owner,  for 8 months. I adore her, and we have built a special friendship. With that said, this card is for her.

I have made a card featuring all My Favorite Things products. I stamped the adorable Pure Innocence Holiday Cheer girl, and colored her in with Copic Markers. For the background, I stamped BG Christmas Backgound with InkOn3 embossing ink, and heat embossed with Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder. I ink-blended Dried Marigold, Spun Sugar, and Seedless Preserves Distress Inks to creat the background glow. The small hill is white glitter paper die-cut with Stitched Snow Drifts. I die-cut the snowflakes out of more white glitter paper using dies from Layered Snowflakes. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment, then trimmed with aStitched Sentiment Strips. I trimmed the background panel with the large die from Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax, then adhered everything together with double-sided adhesive, and popped the girl and sentiment up with thin Scrapbook Adhesive 3D foam squares. My last step was adding Pretty Pink Posh Pearl White Jewels to the middle of the snowflakes.

Thanks again Annette for all your love and support. You opened the door to this wonderful world for me, and taught me a lot. I will always cherish that. Hugs!
