Release Day is finally here!  TheMay My Favorite Things Release is now live and available for purchase!  Do you know what you’re going to get? All of the new products you’ve seen these past 5 days can be found HERE.
I have two more cards to share from this fabulous release…

Stacey Yacula and her beautiful illustrations steal my heart. These Friendly Foxes were an easy pick for a CAS card. I stamped the foxes in light ink, put a base coat of Copic marker colors down, then went over the colors with matching Polychromos pencils for added texture. I love coloring in this fashion… sharp pencils really help give texture and fine details.

I trimmed the panel down with a rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle STAX set 1, and mounted the card on black card stock. I used foam tape to add the panel to an A2 size card base.

My second card is a fun Birthday shaker card using the new Square Trio Shaker Window Die-namics and Pouches.

Sweet Birthday Wishes… this was a fun card to make. I started with watercolor paper and Sheet Music Background stamp. I stamped the paper with embossing ink, and heat-embossed with white embossing powder. I taped the panel to a clip board and pulled out some of my favorite coloring mediums… Tonic Shimmer Powders! I sprayed the panel with water, and added the pigments one color at a time to get a rainbow effect. I used Solar Flair, Cherry Bomb, and Blue Blitz. Once the panel was dried, I trimmed it down with a stitch rectangle Die-namics, and then die-cut the trio squares. I adhered the pouch to the backside of the panel, filled the windows with sparkly Pretty Pink Posh sequins, and closed the windows with card stock. I used the Sweet Die-namics to die-cut Sweet three times, glued and stacked them, then glued them onto the included shadow. I picked a coordinating sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments stamp set, and used a Skinny Strip Die-namics to trim the sentiment. I added them to the card front, then attached the card front to an A2 size card base.

Thank you so much for joining me for the MFT May Release launch! You can find more inspiration and all the products now available on the MFT blog. That’s all for today!
