My Favorite Things August Release Countdown: 3 Days To Go!

Are you having fun seeing all of the new Fall Season goodies heading to the MFT shop? There’s a whole new round of product reveals on the MFT blog, so be sure to stop by and take a peek!

I made a halloween card, featuring two new products in the August Release: Petite Clouds Die-namics, and A2 Circle STAX. I stamped and white heat-embossed Brush Spatter background stamp onto white card stock, and blended a background with the following Distress Oxide inks: Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet, and Black Soot. I added a few dabs of Pumice Stone Distress Oxide ink to wet watercolor paper, and die-cut it with a circle die once dry. I attached it to the panel, and added a black die-cut Ghostly Greetings Bat. I finished the scene with the clouds, and BOO!

  2. Now this fall season gets me excited… being born in October, Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. This is a spooktacular card!! I am also crazy for the leaf cover plate. I can only imagine how fun that one would be. Fun count down. Yeah to Fall!

  7. HI, Angelica – Love the boo-tiful card, esp the blending of colors to make the moon seem to glow. I also thank you for introducing me to the stencil that gives the brush spatter look. I thought it WAS brush spatters until I read the supply list. Thanks and congrats on being part of the hop.
