Autumn/Thanksgiving

The Greetery: Gathered Blessings Collection

Can you believe autumn is right around the corner? I can’t wait for scarves and hot cider! And I am definitely in the mood now, after creating with this fabulous new collection. You are going to have a lot of fun today and tomorrow seeing all of the new products in Friday’s release. I have three cards to share, information on a giveaway, and links to today’s designers. Let’s get started!

My first card features the new All Blessings Flow stamp set. The background is Distressed Oxide inks blended together (Ground Espresso, Rusty Hinge, Scattered Straw), and die-cut with a Nordic Frames die. I stamped the foliage with Pinkfresh Studio inks (Doe & Gathered Twigs), and die-cut them with the coordinating dies. I let the sentiment be the star of the show, and tucked the foliage behind it.

My next card features two new stamp sets: Bittersweet Bouquet, and Pitcher-esque.

How pretty is this pitcher?! Takes me back to my grandma’s house… and I love anything that can do that! I stamped the pitcher and branches with Concord & 9th inks (Poppy, Grapefruit, Sorbet, Sea Glass, Oceanside, and Peacock). The Pitcher-esque stamp set has beautiful sentiments, and the Pitcher-esque Die Collection has coordinating dies, which is what I used for the sentiment.

The ink-smooshed background is made with Crushed Pistachio and Pine Needles Distress Oxide inks. For the card base background, I die-cut white card stock with the new Square Dance Die. This cover plate is a perfect die to use for a muted, textured background.

I pulled out a few Copic Markers for my last card.

Say hello to Top Down Autumn Day! So cute, right? This add-on stamp set to Top Down Day also has a coordinating die collection. The background was made in two steps: first with the Square Dance die, then I used the coordinating Square Dance stencil set to add color.
