Christmas Cards

Colorado Craft Company: Christmas Presents

I have been having so much fun playing with Colorado Craft Company’s November Release. I have two cards to share today, featuring an Anita Jeram illustrated stamp. Before I start, I have a sales code to share. Use code BF2CM at checkout for 15% off total purchase in the 3C shop! Also, there’s a sneak peek of Anita Jeram’s new stamp set, releasing December 13, at the bottom of this blog.

Who can’t wait for Christmas? This pup made me smile as soon as I saw him. Anita Jeram’s Christmas Presents stamp set has three images to color, and 6 matching sentiments. I stamped the image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto Fabriano Artistico Extra White watercolor paper, and painted with Daniel Smith watercolors. I splattered a bit of black paint onto the panel once I finished painting, trimmed the panel, and stamped the sentiment.

I made another card using the second dog image in the stamp set.

I love how whimsical Anita’s lines are. I painted these images pretty quickly, and let the illustrations shine. The same supplies were used for this card. I added both panels to card bases with foam adhesive.

This stamp set can easily be used for birthday cards, too! All you have to do is change the sentiment.

I love versatile stamp sets. I have several dog lovers in my family, and I will be using this stamp set to make them cards throughout the year.

That’s all that I have for today. I hope I have help inspire creative ideas for your next card! Thanks so much for stopping by!
