Concord & 9Th Freshly Picked And Autumn Hues + Giveaway

Hi friends! It’s the last Friday in August, which means I have my final Concord & 9th blog to share with you. you find links for all products used down below, as well as details on an upcoming C9 Holiday Class (instructed by Jennifer McGuire & Kristina Werner!), and a giveaway. Let’s get started!

First up is a card I made with the Freshly Picked Bundle. I started with the dies, making the basket with Peacock and Oceanside card stock, and used shiny silver card stock for the handle. The apples were made with Poppy, Stardust, Grapefruit, Sprout, and Parsley card stock. I finished the panel with a black stripe pattern from Pick A Pattern stamp set, and a heat-embossed sentiment from Freshly Picked stamp set. There’s a die in the Freshly Picked die set that can easily turn the basket interactive, with I did with the top red apple. You can see how it’s done HERE.

My Next card features leaf dies from Autumn Hues Bundle.

I started by ink-blending a white card panel with Cranberry, Buttercup, and Oceanside inks. Once the panel was dry, I die-cut the leaves, and glued them to a card base. I picked a sentiment from Autumn Hues stamp set, and stamped it with cranberry ink onto Ballet Slipper card stock. I die cut the papers with Autumn Hues frame dies, and attached it to the base to finish the card.

My last card features the Autumn Hues Turnabout Background Stencil.

There’s two stencils in this set, one for a full background, and one for a wreath. I used a 6×6 white card stock panel, and my MISTI to make the background. I put the panel in the left corner of my MISTI, topped it with the stencil, and started inking. once I was finished with each color, I cleaned the stencil, turned it one time to the left, and stencil with a new color. I did this four times. The colors used were Cranberry, Sorbet, Stardust, and Oceanside. Once I was finished with Oceanside blending, I added a layer of Brutus Monroe Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze. Once the glaze was dry, I trimmed the panel down, attached it to a card base, and finished the card with another sentiment from Autumn Hues stamp set.

As a thank you for hanging out with me this month, Concord & 9th is giving away a $25 gift card to their shop! all you need to do is leave a comment down below, and a random winner will be picked on Monday.
