The Greetery Handiwork Collection

Hi friends! We are starting a countdown today to The Greetery’s newest collection. The new Handiwork Collection will be in the shop this Friday, July 28th, and we will be sharing reveals today and tomorrow of the release. There’s also a giveaway happening these next two days, so be sure to stick around to the end of this blog for more information on that. Let’s get started.

This first card features the new Embroidered Blooms Die. I die-cut Sno Cone card stock with the large floral dies, and inked the edges with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide ink. I die-cut a contrasting teal center, and glued the pieces together. The backgrounds made with the new Aida Cloth Texture Die, which I attached to a card base. I added the flowers, trimmed the edges, and tucked in a few die-cut chocolate leaves. The sentiment is from the new Stitched Sentiments stamp set, and I used the coordinating die to die-cut the stamped word.

My second card features Floral Sampler stamp set.

I started by adding a white die-cut Aida Cloth Texture background to a card base. I used light brown into stamp the new Embroidered Background onto cream card stock, and die-cut the panel with a postal frame. For the stamped floral images, I die-cut white card stock, then used a variety of Concord & 9th inks to stamp the flowers and stamps. I made a small bouquet, and attached the bouquet to the card with thin foam squares. I added a few Embroidered Blooms die cuts, and finished with a die-cut Thanks Stitched Sentiment.

My last card has a variety of new products, starting with the Hoopla Oval Die.

The Hoopla Oval die set has two oval dies to make two sizes of frames. I used the smaller one for this card. I am not familiar with stitch work, so I did my best to improvise, and and made a small bouquet with the Embroidered Blooms. I stamped another background with Embroidered Background stamp (more on that tomorrow!), and attached the oval frame. I wasn’t going to put a sentiment on the card, but at the last minute I decided to attach a small Sentiment Suite Thank You.

So that finishes day one of reveals. Be sure to check back tomorrow for day two! Now onto the giveaway details…
