Heffy Friends Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to the Heffy Friends Inspiration Blog Hop!  For today’s special Blog Hop, you can win a £50 voucher to the Heffy Doodle store! I have full details on the giveaway down below, as well as links to today’s designers. I have three cards to share, so let’s get started!

I love making clean and simple cards, and this little cow from the new Udderly Fabulous stamp set is perfect for my style. I colored him with the following Copic markers: body-E44, E42, E41; cheeks and belly- R20, R000; hair- E37, E35; face E11, E21, E51; hoves- W-6, W-4, W-3. Once finished, I die-cut with the coordinating die. I added a birthday hat from Popping By stamp set to finish him off.

For the background, I blended a rainbow of inks over Messy Desk stencil, then trimmed the background with a stitched rectangle die. I stamped a sentiment from Udderly Fabulous stamp set, and attacked it to a gray card base, which I had stenciled a starburst on with gray ink.

My next two cards showcase the Starburst stencil, and the new It’s Your Day Jumbo Sentiment Die.

For my first card, I picked a pink and red color combo to use. I attached the Starburst stencil to Ballerina Slipper card stock, and spread Nuvo Raspberry Rhodolite Glimmer Paste over the stencil. I removed the stencil, set the panel aside to dry, and washed the stencil. After the stencil was dry, I did it again, this time on Confetti Cake card stock, using Nuvo Esmeralda Green Glimmer Paste.

Once the paste was dry, I trimmed the edges of the panels, and attached them to card bases. I attached the It’s Your Day Jumbo Sentiment with thin foam squares, and finished the card by adding shimmer to the words, and a layer of Nuvo Crystal Glaze.

That’s all that I have for today. Your next stop on the hop is my talented friend Koren Wiskman. Thanks so much for stopping by!
