Hello friends! It’s been awhile since I’ve touched base. I have been on the road to recovery these past few weeks. I started with a broke foot, and then had oral surgery. Needless to say, February wasn’t the funnest month for me. One thing that did happen for me though was a surprise box from Concord & 9th! They sent me a box of goodies and the new 2024 Color Collection, and I couldn’t wait to get busy with it!

There’s 6 new colors: Rainforest, Grasshopper, Eucalyptus, Wildberry, Creamsicle, and Watermelon. How fun are these?? I gravitated towards Rainforest and Grasshopper the most. Such unique colors, and the inks are so vibrant!

One of the products sent was Bunch Of Balloons Bundle. The bundle includes Bunch Of Balloons Stamp set, coordinating die set, and Bunch Of Balloons stencil set. If you love to stencil balloons, this set is for you. I LOVE balloon stencils, and this is definitely the largest ballon stencil I’ve seen. There’s 5 stencils, 2 2-piece sets, and a single stencil to stencil HOORAY and a large balloon.

I tried two different styles to add ink to my panels: Blending brushes and sponge daubers. The sponge daubers were easy winners for me when blending ink over the stencils. I use daubers all of the time, so I am really comfortable with them. I was able to lay a lot of ink down to make vibrant balloons.

I used Bunch Of Balloons stamp set and coordinating dies for these next two cards. The die set comes with ballon dies, so I die-cut white balloons, and colored them with the inks and sponge daubers. Once I was done with the coloring, I stamped each ballon with the balloon outline stamps in the Bunch Of Balloons stamp set.
