Birthday Thinking Of You

Gift Card Holder Birthday Card

Hello friends! Today I have a fun card to share. I recently received a few new die sets from Scrapbook.com, and I used one to make a really fun birthday card.

How cute is this Market Bag?? I love it so much, and have a feeling you’re going to be seeing this bag soon again in another project. for this card, I used the die to die-cut yellow paper from Vacation Paper Pad. I also die-cut a few Market Bloom Floral flowers and stems. I glued the flowers together, and attached them to the bag with glue and 1 mm foam adhesive.

For the background, I used Mod Circles stencil and PFS Stargazer ink to stencil the background onto Midnight card stock. I trimmed the background, and attached it to a card base. I adhered the bag onto the card with thin foam strips, adding the strips to the edges of the sides and bottom of the bag. I slipped the gift card in the bag, and finished the card with a Happy Birthday sentiment, die-cut with the coordinating dies.

This color combo was an accident, and I’m so happy with it! I used what was on my desk from a previous project (I was being lazy, and didn’t want to clean up), and this was the result. LOVE!

That is all that I have for now. Thanks so much for stopping by!
