It’s Day 4 of the MFT May Release Countdown,  and I had some fun putting together these cards I’m sharing today. For my first card… Birdie Brown is back with the new Bring Out The Sunshine stamp set.  Of course my heart melted when I saw this sweet little girl.

I stamped the images in the set onto Canson XL watercolor paper, and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brushes. To match the Sunshine sentiment, I made a glowing background using two yellow inks and the Ray Of Light stencil. I assembled the card front together, then attached it to an A2 size card base. I finished the card with a die-cut frame (cut three times, then glued and stacked) from the A2 Rectangle Frame Die-namics.

My second card showcases the new Purr-Fect stamp set. Every time I see a cat stamp set, I think of my friend Katie. Katie doesn’t craft, but she does LOVE cats!! So I made her this card for her to give to a loved one.

I love this punny sentiment! I colored the cats and flowers with Zig Clean Color Real Brushes, then used the the coordinating Die-namics to cut them out. For the background, I used a T-ruler to draw a line, then blended inks above and below the line. I picked a coordinating pattern paper from the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack to mount the card front on, and attached it to an A2 size card base.
