Hi friends! It’s Wednesday, which means there’s a new weekly Sketch Challenge on the MFT blog. You can find all the details about the sketch challenge there, as well as inspiration from the MFT Design Team. Here’s this week’s sketch:

Here’s my card inspired by the challenge:

I brushed Coral Crush Ink over the Mini Cloud Edges stencil to start my background. I used the Sunshine Shaker Die-namics to die-cut the sun and then trimmed the panel down and attached it to a card base. I die cut the sun three times from Lemon Chiffon card stock, stacking and gluing the pieces into the die-cut areas.

I added two die-cut Cute Cloud Outlines Die-namics with foam squares. To add even more dimension to the card, I die-cut the Sunshine Die-namics three times, then stacked and glued them together. I added some liquid glue to attach the word to the card, and then dotted the “i” with a heart from the Bundle of Baby Clothes Die-namics. I picked a matching sentiment from the Full Of Sunshine stamp set to finish that part of the card off. My final step was adding sparkle and shine with a shimmer brush and Crystal Glaze.
