Full of Sunshine!

Happy Monday everyone! I have a pair of cards today to share featuring My Favorite Things Full of Sunshine stamp set and dies.

Card 1:

Let me first start off with admitting I’m completely addicted to word dies. Especially My Favorite Things word dies. Their fonts are always so fun! As soon as I saw their Sunshine Die-namics, I wanted to start creating with it immediately. And then there’s the coordinating Full Of Sunshine stamp set, and Sunshine Shaker Die-namics… Let’s just say all three combined makes my heart happy. My first step for these cards was to die cut the word Sunshine out of white cardstock a lot. I mean 13 times a lot! I stacked 4 of them for the first card, using Lawn Fawn Glue Tube. I diecut the sun out of shimmery yellow paper, and placed it in the left corner of a trimmed-down white panel. I used the negative part of the die-cut paper to help me glue the rays down correctly.

Using my MISTI, I stamped a sentiment from Full Of Sunshine stamp set, masking off the word sunshine. I glued the die-cut word under it, and topped the I with a little pink heart I die-cut from Concord & 9th Hi There Bear Die Set. I mounted the panel onto fun foam, added it to a top folding A2 size cardbase, and added shimmer and crystal glaze to the word and heart.

For the second card, I used the remaining word die-cuts to make the background. After glueing them onto matching white cardstock, I ran the paper through my diecut machine to firmly press the words into the paper. I trimmed the panel down, then stamped the sentiment. I stamped first onto a transparency sheet to be sure I liked the position.

I die-Cut one more sunshine word from yellow shimmer paper and glued it on top of the white sunshine. I dotted the i again with a pink heart, mounted the panel onto fun foam, and added it to a top folding A2 size cardbase. My last step was adding shimmer and crystal glaze to the heart.

I hope these cards gave you a big smile. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great week!
